the left and right light and heavy attacks feel all over the shop on the keyboard + mouse controls so even if the mosue was smoother i dont think it would be ideal for coordinating blocking / ripostes / weapon switching etc. Its like the resolution on mouse conrol is nasty as crap it moves in HUGE increments as i experienced with the bow, the controller was much finer ( still has that annoying sensitivity from console versions for long distance headshot aiming etc)Д«ut yeah :( the game really makes way more sense intuitively with a controller tho.

try absolte minimum sensitivity and dpi settings if possible (would make using windows fucking annoying tho) until theres a specific mouse control fix ( probably simpler than the resolution fix ) you are going to be stuck with it. for a whim i decided to try aiming the bow with my mouse. As much of a pain it'll be, i think its time you get comfy with some sticks. Not to mention that all the hints and prompts are for gamepad and the keyboard buttons are all over the place. Thats why the analog controls when using a game pad are much more fluid.ДЄfter beating the first boss, i went back and used a gamepad and had a much easier time. Then if you move the mouse to the right a little more, its like someone taking an analog stick and moving it right a few times. So everytime you move the mouse slightly right, the inputs match what would be you moving an analog stick right at a fixed speed. That gives you the jittery, laggy feeling. The camera control feels like its taking your mouse inputs and converting them through an analog stick.

Thanks Just picked up the PC version and after playing through the first part with a MKB, i've come to realize that their mouse controls are similar to the mods people use that allows them MKB support on consoles. I've tried fiddling with the sensitivity, but it doesn't seem to improve it, only making it slightly worse. Thanks for any advice or tips or anything that might help is greatly appreciate. I was lucky enough that my friend found it in her kind heart to buy this game for me for my birthday. The last thing I'm going to do is buy a gamepad. But honestly, I'm a college student and I can barely afford rent. I'm hoping somebody else has had this issue and knows what I'm referring to.ДЄlso, yes, I know, I should probably buy a gamepad. Hmm, even that is a pretty terrible description of it, though.

It feels almost as though its too sensitive and its reaction to my movement is off. Although, that isn't even a fair description of it. I call it pseudo lag because it's not the game that's chugging, but rather the camera. The only issue I'm having, and the reason I've decided to post this post, is this strange bit of pseudo lag. Of course, that could just be psychosomatic. In an odd way, I actually find the parrying system to be far easier. The mouse/keyboard controls are jarring, but after an hour of fiddling I was able to get everything working fairly well. I've downloaded the resolution fix (which now has a mouse cursor fix as well!) and have been playing the hell out of this game. So you can imagine my elation at the sight of a PC version.

No matter how many hours I put into the system, I just couldn't get my mind wrapped around some of the base systems (especially parrying). I absolutely loved Dark Souls for consoles, but truth be told I am terrible with a gamepad, at least in comparison to mouse/keyboard. Okay, so I'm in a bit of a situation and wondering if anybody had any advice.
